Automatic Recirculation Chimney
The re-circulation opening can be increased or decreased to allow more warm air to be mixed with cold air. In the top part of the chimney, there is an adjustment valve to control exactly how much fresh air is taken in from outside. At the time of minimum ventilation, when the re-circulation element is opened to the maximum the space between the air guide and diffuser plate is reduced to optimize airspeed. This helps to create a good throw of air and prevents cold air from dropping onto the animals at lower capacities during cold periods.
