The egg counter is an infrared electronic egg sensor, which accurately counts eggs in any arrangement on a rod or conveyer belt. Infrared technology is used to count the eggs. The advantage of this technique is that the eggs are not touched, so damages, soiling and blockages are prevented.
The IR.10 has a width of 10 cm (4 inches), this sensor can count up to 3 eggs in a row. The IR.120 can count up to 36 eggs in a row.
The IR.8 is for egg belts with a width under 4 inches. The IR.10 is for egg belts with a width of 4.25 inches.
Optional brackets for egg counters are available and highly recommended. These will assist you in getting the counter mounted at the correct angle.
