Greenline Pad Cooling Plastic 60Hz

For efficient cooling in pig and poultry houses, Fancom offers the Greenline Pad cooling system featuring cooling units that cool the incoming air using water that flows through a synthetic pad.  The Greenline Pad cooling system is installed in front of the air inlet (tunnel).  This cooling method has the significant advantage that it uses a minimum of energy while the temperature, depending on the humidity, can be cooled to 13 degrees.  In this way heat stress can be prevented in animals in extreme weather conditions.  The Greenline Pad cooling system can be used in closed houses that are ventilated based on under-pressure.  Depending on the possibilities, the Greenline Pad cooling system can be installed in the front gable or both sidewalls.

The Greenline Pad cooling system consists of a plastic frame that holds plastic cooling pads (FCP, Fancom Cool Pad) with a large evaporative element made of finely meshed polypropylene. The special deflector ensures that water is well distributed over the pad so the available cooling capacity is fully utilized.  The Greenline Pad cooling system can be regulated in on/off or modulating mode in combination with Fancom control computers.

There is an option to add a linear control unit to the system for adjustable cooling.  The amount of water, and therefore the cooling capacity, is regulated using a Fancom control computer, depending on the house temperature.  This has the advantage of minimizing temperature fluctuations in the house.  Depending on the water quality, some of the water will need to be replenished in order to minimize soiling of the FCP (Fancom-Cool-Pad).  The Greenline Pad cooling system therefore comes equipped as standard with a water replenishment function that automatically drains part of the soiled water.  The Greenline Pad cooling system (in 50 or 60 Hz) is available in lengths of 6 to 24 meters with capacities ranging from 55,000 to 220,000 m3/h.
