Fantura Sliding Inlet -35 degrees Black

The Fantura sliding inlet is a part of the Fancom air inlet system for houses with obstacles, like cages and aviaries, that can affect the incoming air flow.  The air inlet system is applied in closed pig and poultry houses which use an under pressure ventilation system.  The system consists of an air inlet valve in combination with a Fancom winch (the iM.60 or iM.125 for the Fantura version) with a smart control computer.  The inlets are inlets for wall mounting.  In houses where the inlet capacity is < 300 m³/h/inlet, Fancom recommends using the Fantura
sliding inlet.

The design of the inlet consist of a housing with four specially formed louvres and a vertical controlled slide controlling the capacity.  With the independently controllable louvres the incoming air is controlled properly to avoid obstacles independently of the air capacity.

The Fantura version is equipped with a unique spoiler that ensures optimum air flow at low ventilation rates (less than 300 m³/h per inlet).  The incoming air is bundled, creating a better throw, and is directed to the ridge of the house where it can mix with the warm air inside the house.  There should not be obstacles in this airflow path toward the ridge of the house.  In relation with the unique design, the capacity is not linear with the opening of the air inlet.  For this reason, it is not possible to use an arbitrary actuator.  Especially for this application Fancom developed two types of actuators: the iM.60 and the iM.125 winch.  These actuators can also be used with a transitional air intake system.

• Pig houses
