iFan IF35-IF92 I Xtra Built In Fan (14-36 inch)

The Fancom iFan Xtra Built-In fan is an energy saving fan, especially developed for use in the agricultural sector.  The iFan Xtras are equipped with energy efficient EC motors and the latest technology, which produce less heat and lose less energy.  As well as an exceptionally low energy consumption, the iFan features excellent controllability, a low noise production level and extreme durability.   This built-in model is universal and can be built  into all chimney types.  The iFan motor already contains the control electronics and can be directly connected to the ventilation controller.

Features include:

• The iFan Built-In version includes brackets, suspension blocks and mounting set.
• The iFan Xtra is delivered with a connection box enabling connection of a control and an alarm contact.  A power supply cable (L=2,5 m) and a signal cable (L=2,5 m) with 7-pole plug are standard equipment.  There is no need to open a fan for installation.
• The iFan Xtra can be controlled via I/O net or via an analog signal (0-10V;10-0V).
• If the iFan Xtra operates through I/O communication it can be overruled manually through the 0-10V input.  For this an optional manual override is available, part no. 35130145.

• Manually overruling the controlled signal, I/O net or analog, can also be done by potentiometer. For this an optional manual override is available, part no. 35130162.

  • – OFF : (7.5KW-12kW)
  • – MAN : (0-7.5KW) manual regulation (continuous) via potentiometer control
• When the (I/O) communication signal suddenly disappears, e.g. due to a failure, the fan will automatically continue in the last ventilation position with an alarm.  When using a temperature sensor, the ventilation will increase if the temperature increases.
• During start-up (power supply off/on), when the fan does not detect a control signal (I/O or 0-10V), it will start running on 50% or 100%.  This value can be pre-set through a dip switch.
• The iFan Xtra is provided with an alarm contact, which deactivates during motor malfunction or when the power supply of the motor is switched off.
• The iFan Xtra is provided with an automatic protection against overloading and over-heating.  The power is automatically adjusted.  In the event of repeated or long-lasting problems, the motor is switched off permanently.
• An external motor protection switch is not needed.  Fancom recommends mounting a working switch or wall socket nearby the fan for safety and service purposes.  Fancom advises always to keep the power on the fan, even when it is not in use.
• The iFan Xtra is provided with a venting plug.  The venting plug allows air to escape freely from the motor while no water gets inside.
